The scriptures which are given by God's inspiration are completely sufficient so that the man of God may be fully mature and may have all the equipment which is needed for every work which God considers good.
The writings of religious scholars tend to be like water storage facilities. People tend to study what religious scholars have written and then seek to use the Bible to corroborate the theological philosophise of the scholars.
One of the purposes of this podcast is to encourage people to read the Bible without theological filters, to read it as it was read by first century believers. Another purpose is to encourage people to be content with those things which God has chosen. God deliberately chose things which most people consider foolish, weak, base, and as nothing.
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.
